• Deutsche Post DHL raised its full-year profit guidance to €8.4 billion from the previous €8 billion, saying it is on track to produce record results. The German logistics company said on Tuesday sales in Q3 jumped to €24 billion, 20% ahead of the same period last year. Earnings before interest and tax were up 15% to €2 billion while revenues in the company’s freight division were up nearly 40% year-on-year to €7.9 billion.

• Deutsche Post CEO Frank Appel is expected to become the next supervisory board chairman of Deutsche Telekom, and would be proposed for election at Deutsche Telekom’s next annual meeting on April 7, according to the German newspaper Handelsblatt.
